About Ocean Company
We specialise in upcycling residual streams from the fishing industry into high-grade fish products. Ocean Company is a modern company that aims to contribute to a circular and sustainable economy.
Sustainability is becoming increasingly important in the fishing industry. Ocean Company has anticipated this development by building its business around minimising the residual production from the sector. Whereas it used to be common practice to destroy residual fish products, we at Ocean Company put them to good use.
Together with other companies in the fishing sector, we are working hard to keep our seas and oceans healthy. Together, we make sure that future generations can continue to enjoy everything our oceans have to offer!
It is our mission to ensure that nothing of what nature has to offer goes to waste.
How do we do this?
We help our partners all over the Netherlands process their residual products. We have developed a unique production process in which we use various techniques to turn residual products into high-quality semi-finished products. These semi-finished products can then be used to produce food, animal feed and food supplements.
We believe every part of a fish can be put to good use!

Specialist in upcycling
We want to minimise waste in the fishing industry. We do this by not simply selling residual products to our clients; instead, we turn them into high-quality semi-finished products. In doing so, we contribute to the circular economy.
Sustainability in the fish sector
Our products come from residual flows from the fish industry. We use almost 100% of these residual streams, thus eliminating waste. It also ensures that our own production has virtually no waste streams.
Besides our sustainable production, our company is also green in other areas. Ocean Company generates much of our own electricity consumption through a large solar field on the roof of our building. Our logistics partners work with organic fuels as much as possible and our packaging is produced from completely recycled materials.
